TERMS & COPYRIGHT

Save responsibly.

GetThatVideo helps you save supported videos from public X posts. It does not give you rights to someone else’s work.

Use content you are entitled to download

Use this tool for your own videos or content you have permission to save. A public post is not a licence to copy or republish it. You are responsible for complying with applicable law and the source platform’s terms. Ask the rights holder before reusing a video when permission is required.

Supported use

This preview supports attached videos in public X and Twitter posts where a direct MP4 is available. It does not bypass login requirements, access controls, or paywalls. Ongoing public broadcasts can be recorded from the available live edge as MP4 video or audio-only MP3 until you press Stop & finish. The download begins during recording and cannot be resumed or retrieved again afterward. Keep the page open and your device awake. A stream interruption, format change, or page disconnection lasting three minutes can stop a recording early. Completed broadcast downloads, Spaces, GIF conversion, audio extraction from ordinary posts, and batch downloading are not available.

Service limitations

Availability depends on X. Endpoints and media addresses can change, posts can disappear, and requests can be restricted. Video is saved without upscaling. Live MP3 audio is converted at 192 kbps; this does not improve the original audio quality. Do not use automation to evade request limits or disrupt the service.

Independent service

GetThatVideo is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. X and Twitter names refer to the source platform.
