Can I download a video in 1080p?
Only if X provides a 1080p MP4 for that video. We show the available resolutions and their exact dimensions. We never upscale a file or promise a quality the original does not have.
Does this work on iPhone and Android?
The downloader uses standard MP4 file downloads. On iPhone, look in Safari’s Downloads and the Files app. On Android, check your browser’s Downloads. The exact save options depend on your browser and device. See our device guides below.
Why can’t a video be found?
A post may be deleted, protected, restricted, or temporarily unavailable from X. Photos, animated GIFs, finished broadcasts, Spaces, quoted videos, and external video embeds are not supported in this version. X can also limit requests.
Are there download limits?
Yes. File size, video duration, request rate, and simultaneous downloads are limited to keep the service usable. If a file is too large, try a lower quality. Live recordings stream to your browser until you stop, without a fixed recording length or total file-size cap. Keep the page open and your device awake. Temporary download links expire after ten minutes.
Can I download any video I find?
Download only videos you own or have permission to save. A public post does not automatically grant permission to reuse, edit, or republish its content. GetThatVideo is not affiliated with X.
